The NRA Refuse to be a Victim program
The single most important step toward ensuring your own safety is having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid becoming a victim. Seminars are held across the nation and are open to men and women of all ages. Today, hundreds of federal, state and local law enforcement officials from across the nation utilize this popular program in their crime prevention and community policing initiatives. Corporations, educational institutions and community centers have also adopted the program. All told, more than 100,000 people have benefited from these seminars.

NRA Whittington Center, Youth Adventure Camp program
Our Adventure Camp is perhaps America’s best outdoor youth camp for boys and girls aged 13 to 17. The camp is offered in two consecutive, two-week sessions, beginning in mid-June and ending in mid-July. Under direct supervision of our staff and trained volunteers, our campers learn everything from shooting fundamentals to firearm safety, marksmanship, basic wilderness survival skills, and much, much more. Talk about fun! Many of our former campers return as camp counselors!

Scholastic Action Shooting Program
Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) is the national governing body for youth speed shooting on steel targets, offering kids from 12 years old through college the opportunity to safely participate in our exciting team-based Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) — a sport that can truly be enjoyed for lifetime.

SCTP (Scholastic Clay Target Program)
As the National Governing Body for the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), we provide kids from elementary grades through high school and college with the opportunity to participate in the fun and challenging sports of Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays, as well as the Olympic disciplines of Bunker Trap, Trap Doubles and International Skeet. SSSF is the official feeder program to USA Shooting and a path to the U.S. Olympic Shooting Team.
